Meet Dr. Matthew Miller
Working with children makes me smile! Each day, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to make such a positive difference in the lives of my young patients, whether I’m teaching proper methods of oral hygiene or simply sharing a smile. It is my goal to create a positive first dental experience for every patient I meet.
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. After completing my bachelor’s degree at the University of California, San Diego, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. In August 2000, I completed my specialty training in pediatrics at the University of Southern California. That same month, I began practicing in the pediatric department of the Monterey Peninsula Dental Group.
In addition to my work in the office, I am also on staff at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. I am an assistant clinical professor at UCSF in the Department of Growth and Development as well. I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry,
I live in Salinas with my wife, our child, and our dog. I am dedicated to being the best possible dad and husband I can be. In my free time, I enjoy being outside gardening and hiking.
